About

Hello! I’m Ashana, a former foster child, recovered perfectionist, and free from a childhood of narcissistic abuse and parental Borderline Personality Disorder.

I’m a holistic health practitioner who found my calling through my own journey of healing from trauma, learning to nurture my body, mind, and emotions along the way. Now, I help others reclaim their health and emotional well-being by guiding them to reconnect with their body’s natural wisdom and overcome the effects of a painful past.

The Full Story

My own healing journey started with a deep desire to feel better in my body. I spent years searching for ways to restore my health and energy, and through that journey, I fell in love with plant-based eating and supporting my body’s natural detox pathways.

But as I began to focus on my physical health, I soon realized that true healing goes far beyond what we put in our bodies. Emotional and mental well-being are just as vital to our overall health, which led me to explore the emotional side of healing. It became clear that nourishing our hearts and minds is just as important as nourishing our bodies, and that’s where my passion for holistic health truly blossomed.

I know firsthand the impact trauma can have. As a former foster child and a child of a narcissistic parent and a parent with BPD, I understand the struggle of trying to find stability and peace in a world that often feels chaotic. It’s a deep, lived experience that allows me to truly connect with my clients and understand their unique perspectives as they recover from their own painful patterns.

My journey has given me the tools, knowledge, and empathy to guide others in reclaiming their health, emotional well-being, and confidence. I’m here to encourage you to reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit so you can live the vibrant life you deserve – free from the labels of the past.

For a long time, I believed that my all-over-the-place emotions were roadblocks keeping me from experiencing true happiness, and that I needed someone else to tell me how to manage them so I could finally feel in control and free from self-judgment.

In struggling to overcome my own emotional overwhelm, I learned so much about the power of raw vulnerability to tap into radical strength and authenticity. I learned that those of us who feel everything so deeply are created that way for a reason. And that we have the ability to help others feel seen and heard too, when we learn how to give that to ourself first.

There is always a message for us in the mess, if we truly desire growth and change.

This journey has given me the superpower of being extremely sensitive to the nuances of a story, especially the hidden parts that sound like the whisper of a child who still wants validation and love. This is helpful when I’m around other people who also value deep energetic connection, because as empaths we often aren’t used to being understood that way.

The world that lights me up is one where every person feels safe to be their true selves—open, vulnerable, and free from comparison. A space where we can grow and connect authentically, without fear— where you boldly embrace your unique gifts and ideas, trusting that on the other side of uncertainty lies a world of blessings and conscious connections waiting just for you. It’s time to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

More About Me

I studied Clinical Nutrition at JSU & fell in love with the intricacy of the human body. As a child, I dreamed of being a reconstructive plastic surgeon, but over time I realized the medical field felt too cold for me.

I feel like my true calling was a shift from clinical practice to focusing on reconstruction of the self—helping others tap into their authenticity and empowerment to decide what that means for them.

I am “Mama” to seven amazing souls (5 in Alabama, 2 in Paris), plus two pups and a ball python.

I'm a serial journaler – writing is often how I feel connected with my inner wisdom.

I do not hit children. I do not eat animals. I believe institutionalized schooling perpetuates a limiting system. I feel that modern feminism distracts women from their true power, and I treasure the true Jesus as a shaman who showed us how to live as enlightened beings, free from the false authority of worldly systems. These beliefs guide my path of healing and growth.

If these values jive with your own, I might be the practitioner for you!

Work With Me

That’s a lot about me. What about you?

You can read a bit about my “ideal client” here.

But know that I think that’s kind of a silly concept, because everyone is in their own place at the exact right time. This is more of a fun exercise to see the kind of issues I can help with, if it feels right for you.
